I just upgraded both my WordPress blogs (one is a test blog) using the automatic method. This is the first time since this option has been available that the automatic upgrade has worked! The secret was to delete the Upgrade folder in the WP-Contents folder – I saw this suggestion on the Total Choice Hosting Forum (I use TCH as my hosting company). Thanks TCH Bruce – hope this method will always be successful. I did deactivate my plugins before I started. I can manually upgrade but this method is faster for me if it works properly. Wonder when the next upgrade will be – sometimes they can be close together – that is why I am excited about the automatic attempt being successful.

As stated in a previous post, I have used Roboform for a few years and don’t know what I would do without it. The Schedule Posts function didn’t work as it should when I wrote a post using my iPod. It worked to a point that the post showed as a Draft in WordPress with the correct time and date to be published. However one has to open WordPress on a computer – login and find the scheduled Draft. Then you need to click on the Schedule button to complete the task. The post will then be published as scheduled.

If the last step could be added to the WordPress App – great!
