I haven’t had much time to have a good look at the new version of WordPress. It is that time of the year when there is always work to be done both inside and outside the house. I really am behind in my outside work - I hooked up one fountain in my backyard last evening but I still have the Gardening Girl fountain to hook up. It is the one that is solid cement so I make sure I am feeling good before I tackle that one. I also had the chap who does my lawn aerating, fertilizing, etc. add a good base of topsoil and seed and fertilizer. A couple of days later - we had torrential downpours so I hope most of the seed didn’t go floating down my street! There is some grass starting to show through. I am having a terrible time with weeds and pests now that we can no longer use pesticides in our city. The one thing that should help is a good base of top soil. This should have been done when the builders were here but they chose to sell most of the soil and have the sod laid over top of a thin layer of soil. I don’t why the builders need to line their pockets with the cash from selling our soil - I think they make enough money. I haven’t put any flowers in my flower boxes yet - I was waiting to get more potting soil as I wanted to start with fresh soil this season. Also, the weather has been a factor - until recently, it has still been getting cool at nights. I also have staining to do this season but the weather hasn’t been cooperating - it has been too cool or too rainy.

I am almost finished with my house renovations so that is a good feeling. The chap is coming Monday to install my glass door for my walk in shower so I will be happy to see that completed. I did get my outside tap installed recently. I put some renovation photos on my Gallery.

I have been spending more time getting documents ready for my lawyer to submit to Small Claims Court concerning the property issues with the neighbours behind me. They have never responded to any of the 4 letters my lawyer has sent them. They act as if they have done nothing wrong.

My sister is no longer taking chemo - the oncoloogist stopped it as he felt the treatment would not keep up with the growth of the cancer. She has a ’small cell cancer’ which apparently is a fast growing cancer. She sees the radiation doctor toward the end of this month. She is going to ask her if there is a possibility of having more radiation to again shrink the tumour. As any one familiar with the struggles fighting cancer knows - this disease can be like being on a long roller coaster ride. You certainly have your ups and downs. Her spirits are still pretty good and she remains positive. I don’t get to visit her as much as I would like to but we chat on the phone often for lengthy periods.

I haven’t spent a whole lot of time on the computer lately with everything that is going on. I did recently come across a morphing program that I really like. I have since purchased the program. I have a small movie on my home page of my web site. This is another movie I did this afternoon.
